Regret all the tweezing, threading, and waxing you’ve done over the years? The smartest – and fastest – way to restore your brows to their former glory is to pick a damn good eyebrow growth serum.
This is especially true if you’re plagued by sparse, scanty eyebrows that just won’t grow back no matter what you do. Years – or decades – of repeatedly plucking eyebrow hairs can stunt the natural growth cycle semi-permanently, or even cause traction alopecia, which is a type of semi-permanent hair loss, making it even harder to regrow over-plucked brows.
And eating right, swearing off the tweezer, and nourishing with natural oils will only get traumatized brows so far. Sure, your brow hairs may be a bit healthier but natural remedies only go so far and they’re not going to restore pencil-thin, barely-there brows to their previous thick and full glory.
Know what will? A potent eyebrow growth serum. Here are the best ones up to the task!
Top 5 Eyebrow Growth Serum Reviews
There’s choices galore out there when it comes to growing your brows but the below five are the most potent, most effective of them all…
GrandeBrow Eyebrow Enhancer
We try not to play favorites but the GrandeBrow Eyebrow Enhancer is probably our favorite brow serum. Why? It works. The effectiveness of this brow serum comes down to two words = prostaglandin analogs. These active ingredients are what deliver Latisse-like results to grow thin, balding eyebrow hairs back into thick, dense beauties. And GrandeBrow has got enough of it to make it worthwhile.
On top of that, this serum also provides a heap of brow-strengthening ingredients like keratin, biotin, panthenol, and pumpkin seed extract as well as nourishing goodies like sweet almond extract and allantoin. The result is filled-in, thicker, and even darker brows – which can be a perk or a drawback, depending on what you’re looking for.
Overall, a highly effective brow growth serum for even the patchiest of eyebrows!
NutraLuxe MD Eyebrow Enhancer
Nutra Luxe MD’s eyebrow serum is hands down the best priced of the prostaglandin-containing brow growth serums. And it’s not just the competitive pricing that makes this one fantastic – it’s also highly effective.
Just a little bit goes a long way so the bottle will last you for months and it delivers on its claims: you’ll grow thicker, denser eyebrows. It’ll also make your brows darker as well, which can be more than you bargained for, especially if you have blonde or auburn eyebrows so keep that in mind before you go with this one!
RevitaBrow Advanced
RevitaBrow Advanced Eyebrow Conditioner
Want thicker, denser, more filled in eyebrows without the potential side effect of darkened skin? The thing about prostaglandin analogs is that they’re capable of growing dramatically longer, thicker hair but they can also have the side effect of darkening the eyes and skin.
It’s not as much of a concern when it comes to the eyebrows since the product won’t be touching your eyes and the darkening is a welcome effect for most people since it makes the brow line appear even denser and defined without the need for brow tint – but for light-skinned, fair-haired folk, it can be an unwanted side effect.
If you fall in that latter category, you’ll want to go for an effective, deeply nourishing eyebrow serum that does the job without prostaglandins, like RevitaBrow. It’s formulated with a combination of brow-growing peptides, nutrients, and extracts and does an overall solid job of regrowing eyebrow hair into a thicker, denser version of itself.
The downside? This one’s pricey – it’s actually nearing Latisse costs. The good news is, there’s always a cheaper alternative…
RapidBrow Eyebrow Enhancing Serum
RapidBrow Eyebrow Enhancing Serum
At its affordable price point, the RapidBrow Eyebrow Enhancing Serum is a great starter brow serum for those wanting to try it out without making too big of a commitment. It’s formulated with a ton of brow-strengthening goodies like keratin, biotin, panthenol, pumpkin seed extract as well as a roundup of hair growth stimulating peptides.
Our favorite one is Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, which is one of the most effective ingredients for longer, thicker hair growth. This ingredient has been clinically proven to stimulate keratin production at a cellular level to promote hair growth, with an average increase rate of 54%. We especially love that it’s found in a large enough quantity in this brow serum to really make a difference.
Overall, a solid – and affordable – eyebrow growth serum that’s perfect for bringing back eyebrow abundance.
FAQs on Eyebrow Growth Serums
Will an eyebrow growth serum work for me?
Every individual is different so it’s hard to predict exactly whether a particular growth serum will work for you. That being said, the most effective growth serums produce results for the majority of people. In particular, prostaglandin analogs are effective more often than not.
For example, the famously effective Latisse has a success rate of around 80%. As long as you fall into that 80% of the population that responds to prostaglandins, they should work great for you. But in the small chance, you’re in the minority, nourishing nutrients that repair and stimulate hair follicles generally improve the health of your hair, helping your brows grow back healthier and stronger.
Are the results from an eyebrow growth serum permanent?
Unfortunately, no. The results last only as long as you continue using the product. The good news is that once you’ve gotten the eyebrow growth you want, you can cut back to using the serum around three to four times a week and still maintain the results.
How long do brow serums take to work?
Keep in mind that even the most effective brow serums take time. It’s a little like going to the gym – you don’t see visible results for days and weeks and then one day, you look in the mirror and find that you’ve changed for the better. So keep at it, okay?
Progress is slow but steady and it’s going to take at least a month to begin to see results but you’ll get there.

NeuBrow sounds like it would be great from your review. The box says it’s fragrance free, paraben free, but you said it has sweet almond extract. I’m assuming the extract is from real almonds? If you are allergic to nuts, would you be able to wear and use NeuBrow and the NueLash?
Hi Honey, thanks for stopping by and that’s a great question! Yes, sweet almond extract is from real almonds but it shouldn’t be a problem since it’s usually the protein in the nut that causes an allergic reaction and it’s removed from the heat that’s produced during the process of pressing the oil from the almonds. That being said, if you have a severe allergy to almonds, it might be better for you peace of mind to avoid it altogether – NeuBrow is a great option but just know that most eyelash growth serums work just as well for the eyebrows so you don’t “have to” exclusively stick to an eyebrow growth product. Hope that helps and good luck!
Yeah, very allergic to almonds… can’t breathe when they are in my mouth. The big thing in it that works is the prostaglandin analogues and it’s the same in NutraLuxe MD right? I really want the best working but am a little terrified of the almonds, my luck (umm I have none lol truly) my lashes would probably fall out or something, their own version of suffocation rofl. If you say the NutraLuxe is the same with the prostaglandin analogues, then I’ll see about doing those. I really love your review, it is very confusing trying to decipher reviews that are so mixed on every product on Amazon. There’s even one reviewer who keeps responding telling people that her lashes are so long she takes scissors to them!!! Yeah, that is a little hard to believe if she is still using serum twice a day to lengthen then to go edward scissorhands on her eyeballs lol. So thank you for the realistic reviews and being so quick to answer questions, you’re awesomej!
Yes, definitely skip anything with almonds in that case! And thanks so much for the compliments, glad you found them helpful 🙂
Have you looked into this (you might find the reviews interesting 🙂 there are a lot of pictures to show what it does- maybe you can use it for your awesome reviews you have here 🙂 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018IZXILQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A346PGUCLIBB6J&psc=1 I looked at your reviews for eyelashes for the grandelash… on amazon people are having problems with both sellers selling counterfeit products, maybe you know another more reputable seller? 🙂
Thanks, I’ll check them out! And yes, unfortunately Amazon’s been having some problems with fake beauty products 🙁 I find that the best way to avoid that is to order from the direct seller on Amazon – like Grande Cosmetics, for example.
Uh oh… I just ordered stuff on Amazon recommended from your site that wasn’t from the direct sellers 🙁 . How can I tell if they are fake beauty products when they arrive?
I was going to buy one of these eyebrow enhancing treatments but I am pregnant and learned about prostoglandin analogue use… I am wondering though if I should buy it now and save it until after I am done breastfeeding… if I wrap it well, will it last for a year, unopened? I am concerned that some of these may get taken off the market or get very difficult to find in a year from now. And it seems like they really work! I could use the help :/
Hi Jenn, thanks for stopping by! I’m not sure about the expiration date on the products but if unopened, they may be okay in a year (if you want, you can always email the manufacturers to ask). But honestly, I’d say hold off on the purchase until baby has been breastfed. Sure, some of the products change their formulations and some go off market but new ones often pop up (and this site is constantly updated) so you’ll find one for sure in a year and you can start your lash growing process with peace of mind 🙂
how come you have to keep using the serum to maintain results? If your hair grows back, do you mean it falls out once you stop the serum?? Or is it more about the thickness and length to maintain?
More Informative! Thanks for sharing this beautiful post. It is really helpful for everyone, who wants to get attractive eyelash and brow. So we are also providing Eyelash Growth Serum in Canada and USA. So keep posting…
I was wondering if anyone has tried using any of the serums and after having seen new hairgrowth, discontinued the product? Will the new grown hairs simply fall out again? I’m looking for a product that will bring back overplugged hair follicles but I do not want to have to use a product forever to maintain my eyebrow hairs.
