FEG Eyelash Enhancer Serum Review: Read This Before Buying!
Most eyelash enhancers and serums take weeks and even months to see a millimeter of results. If you’re tired of waiting you might find FEG Eyelash Enhancer’s promise intriguing. The product says your lashes can grow up to two millimeters after using for only – get ready – seven to 14 days.
Yes, the proclaimed natural formula promises longer, thicker, and darker lashes in just one to two weeks.
Use it once every day to see results and apparently FEG Eyelash Enhancer will activate your dormant hair follicles, bringing new lashes into the scene while also adding length and volume to existing lashes.
The actual results to your lashes are pretty standard for a lash product to promise, but we’re most interested in the time frame FEG Eyelash Enhancer says it works within. Can it keep its promise, though? Let’s check out some pros and cons.
FEG Eyelash Enhancer Ingredients
Purified water, Sodium chloride, Benzalkonium chloride, Citric Acid, Disodium Phosphate, Cellulose Gum
What We Like About FEG Eyelash Enhancer
This product had us interested for its modest price. With 3 mL for less than $10, that’s a good deal for product that lasts for over two months. In fact, it makes it one of the cheapest eyelash serums on the market.
Should you get the results you’re after, the serum also promises that you can maintain your newly lengthened lashes by using FEG Eyelash Enhancer twice per week, saving you even more money over the long run.
Typically, lash products require consistent use to maintain results, so we like how you can ease off how much product you can use with this serum – it means you don’t have to use FEG Eyelash Enhancer every single day once you get the lashes you want, saving on product.
Unfortunately, that’s about as far as the pros go with this product.
What We Don’t Like About FEG Eyelash Enhancer
First, some unsurprising negatives. You can’t use FEG Eyelash Enhancer on your lower lash line. If you do, the product will cause darkening or discoloration around the area. In the same area, be sure to clean excess product off your eyelid or it can discolor the skin.
Now, the vital issues. FEG Eyelash Enhancer is not great for improving lash fullness like it promises. What we’re most disappointed in is the promise of such quick results doesn’t hold up. If you see any results with this product, you’ll see them in six to eight weeks.
Finally, we have some problems when it comes to ordering FEG Eyelash Enhancer online. When purchasing off Amazon, you do get the actual product unlike some lash serums which have fakes out there, but sometimes the bottle is a little dried up. This means you don’t get as much product, but it could also be a sign of old or poorly packaged product. That’s not the kind of thing you want to be using, especially on an area as sensitive as your eyes.
FEG Eyelash Enhancer’s site isn’t much more helpful if you’re trying to turn to it instead of Amazon. The product’s site doesn’t offer much information and what it does seems to have been translated (a bit poorly too). For a lash serum – which you’ll be putting on some of your most delicate areas – it feels cheap and frankly, doesn’t inspire much confidence.
But the biggest downside to this product is the suspiciousness of its ingredients list. As you can see above, FEG Eyelash Enhancer claims to only have 6 total ingredients. That’s fine and dandy but the problem is that none of those ingredients have anything to do with lash growth.
The most prevalent ingredient in the product is water, followed by Sodium chloride – which is salt, followed by Benzalkonium chloride – which is a preservative that’s often found in eye drops. And then there’s Citric Acid, Disodium Phosphate, Cellulose Gum – none of which are known to inspire any sort of eyelash conditioning or growth.
Which leads to us ask…so what’s in this product that’s making lashes grow and causing the side effect of potential darkening or discoloration of skin? ‘Cause that’s the kind of side effect you get with a prostaglandin analogue and if that’s an ingredient that’s being used in FEG Eyelash Enhancer – customers definitely have a right to know.
FEG Eyelash Enhancer Review: Final Thoughts
Unfortunately, it seems the promise of results in one to two weeks was a bit lofty. Lashes are among the slowest growing hair, so it isn’t too surprising that FEG Eyelash Enhancer can’t perform miracles in a week or two. Still, we were rooting for a quick delivery on the promises this lash enhancer made.
Although entirely unrealistic, fast growth could’ve been at least one thing the product delivered on. ‘Cause when it comes to the overall verdict on this product – we’re not impressed.
Sure, at less than $10 for a 3mL bottle, it’s so modestly priced that we’d normally say “why not, go for it.” But in this case, we’re giving it a strong PASS. With the strange ingredients list and presentation of the product, it just feels shady. And considering you’re going to be applying it to your sensitive, precious eyes – why risk it?
